TopShop’s must-haves (from left to right): Leather jacket (HK$2,150), dress (HK$890) and vest (HK$490)
So in the past few months we’ve seen more mass market chains hit Hong Kong – H&M’s higher line COS is coming next month, while Forever 21 is taking the city by storm. God knows what will happen when Abercrombie opens its doors.
The next to add to the list is TopShop. Now before you get too excited, unfortunately it won’t be a freestanding store. Instead luxury retailer Harvey Nichols is bringing a selection of clothing to its Hong Kong stores, along with the TopShop’s more high-end runway collection, TopShop Unique, which will launch next season (autumn/winter 2012). The store will also sell the retailer’s high-profile designer collaborations – like its previous effort with Mary Katrantzou – which is super exciting
For now, fans can shop key items from the spring/summer collection including sheer animal print blouses, digital print dresses and leather jackets. Prices start at around HK$300.
Harvey Nichols is at The Landmark , Central and Pacific Place, Admiralty. www.topshop.com
