LisaT Spa towelling collection (above)
With the summer holidays in full swing, I’ve been thinking about chic cover-ups for the beach. Trend-wise there are so many options this season ranging from ethnic prints like ikat to digital florals. That being said, I am all about white – it brings out your tan and looks good on almost everyone.
LisaT Spa has been a favourite of mine since it launched – it’s all about chic styles made from natural fabrics like linen and cotton, but only the best quality so nothing clings or pills easily. This summer the brand has launched a capsule collection made from a special towelling fabric that is heavy enough so that it drapes nicely, but light enough to be super comfortable. It contains 5 per cent spandex so the styles will keep their shape and everything is machine washable. The look is elegant yet playful thanks to the brand’s signature intricate details. My top picks include the origami bolero and wide leg trousers with a flounced hem, as well as the jumpsuit with a draped back. The towelling tube dress with a contrasting red crochet belt is perfect for day to night. Tres chic!
If you are after a more Boho look then check out Club Monaco’s Beach boutique, which opens every summer. This shop-in-shop features styles inspired by the bohemian spirit of the South of France, so expect eyelet dresses, breezy gauze skirts, lace tanks and embroidered cotton shorts and vests.
