The limited edition Harting
I am happy to report that Rupert Sanderson has finally landed in Kowloon at Elements mall. As you all know I have been a fan even before it was available in Hong Kong, so I was super excited when I heard they were opening a second outpost in Kowloon.
The boutique itself is quite different to the Central store, although it has a similar chic design. It’s much bigger and also boasts a large VIP room so you can try on as many pairs of shoes, away from prying eyes.

To commemorate the opening there are several new items available in store in addition to the spring/summer 2013 collection. I have my eye on the fashion-forward Harting (only 10 pairs are available) which comes in an edgy neon mesh, while the Lamira is a classic court shoe decorated with a gold pebble buckle on the front.
Also new is Rupert’s first women’s handbag collection which boasts super soft leather styles for all occasions. I’d describe the look as classic with a modern twist thanks to the signature bar closure on each style. It’s eye catching, functional and chic. My favourites are the classic tote for everyday and the sleek yet roomy clutch.

It’s also a good as time as any to launch the new Shanghai collection, which is an extension of the best-selling Hong Kong collection. As you may already know, the Hong Kong pump was created two years ago exclusively for the Asian customer and boasts a customized fit and shape (I can attest to the fact that these shoes are super comfortable!) I’d call the Shanghai its sexier sister – it has a similar shape but comes with an additional 10mm platform and more curves. Its available in various materials and colours from a metallic leopard print to a disco ball-inspired platinum leather.
