Skinny stacking rings
I first noticed Monica Vinader’s designs while browsing on netaporter. Classic yet modern, there was something alluring about her bold coloured stone earrings and delicate diamond bracelets. I wanted to know more so when a fashion editor friend introduced us, I jumped at the chance.
Based in the England, Monica’s collections straddle the worlds of fine and fashion jewellery, making them accessible and affordable but no less covetable. She set up the brand in 2006 with her sister and has since taken Britain by storm. Fortunately for us, she now has her sights set on Asia.

What makes Monica’s jewellery so appealing is the fact that they are not only beautiful but completely wearable. She is obsessed with detail and quality and you can really see this when you own and wear her pieces. Everything is handcrafted in India, so the collections embody a luxe, artisanal feel. At the same time it enables her to keep prices reasonable so everyone can indulge.
Monica’s designs run the gamut from feminine and delicate to bold with a fashion twist. She was one of the first to bring back rose gold, which is now a signature, while other pieces are set in silver or 18 carat yellow gold vermeil. Highlights from the new collection include her Art Deco inspired skinny stacking rings with their sleek, sculptural look. There’s also a matching bracelet that’s delicate and perfect for layering.
Fuji friendship bracelets
I am also loving the Riva drop earrings, which features two tiers consisting of a diamond paved hoop and organic shaped multi-faceted Lemon Quartz gemstone drop. It’s perfect for any occasion, really.
My ultimate favourite though are her iconic friendship bracelets which are a far cry from the flimsy woven styles you wore at school. Instead, Monica has upped the luxe factor by designing a thin gold bangle with a nifty adjustable cord or gold chain. Some styles have bangles embellished entirely with diamonds, while others come with a diamond encrusted toggle. You can also choose from silk cords. They are so gorgeous that one is not enough! Best of all, it can be personalised making them the ideal gift for Christmas.
