A bracelet from the 18-carat gold collection, exclusively for Lane Crawford
I have always been a huge fan of Eddie Borgo and recently meet him in Paris to view his spring/summer 2014 collection. The super sweet and down-to-earth designer is now in Hong Kong where is he launching a very cool collaboration with Lane Crawford as part of their Queen of Accessories series.
While Eddie is best known for his chunky costume pieces (his punk-inspired designs have earned him countless of accolades and celebrity fans including Chloe Sevigny), he is going for a more luxe feel for his collaboration with Lane Crawford.
A necklace from the autumn/winter collection
The limited edition capsule collection will feature 10 of his signature styles, ranging from his must-have cone bracelet to the five-finger ring, crafted from 18-carat gold for the first time. Only 10 pieces of each style will be available, making them all the more covetable.
Local fashionistas will also have the chance to view his Egyptian inspired autumn/winter line as well as a selection of jewellery boxes made from exotic skins. Then there is the debut of his men’s collection for the first time in Asia. It features everything from collar tips, tie clips and cufflinks, to wallet chains and lighter cases. Many of the designs reference iconic jewellery worn by rock’n’roll personalities from the 1960s.

Next on the cards is a collection of leather goods made using the same factories as Chanel. We can’t wait!
