For me, accessories make an outfit. For that reason I am always looking for beautifully crafted, unique pieces that you can’t find everywhere.
Our latest find is the very chic Piece a Conviction capsule collection designed in collaboration with one of our favourite designers, New York based Mary Ping (who is also the founder of cerebral label, Slow and Steady Wins the Race). Piece a Conviction is a small artisan jeweller based in Fountainebleu outside of Paris. Mary has been collecting their pieces for over a decade and finally decided to approach the brand’s designer Ghislain Ryckebusch about a collaboration. The result is a five-piece, limited-edition collection that will no doubt appeal to those who appreciate crafstmanship and modern design.
The minimalist collection is all about clean lines and bold geometric details. Pieces include the Mono, an open necklace with flat cone endings, while the Overture Bracelet looks more like a wearable sculpture than a piece of jewellery. Rings are their signature and one of our favourites is the Minaret, an open ring with a solid ball on one end, and a circle on the other. Everything is handmade using brass and handblown glass in their atelier outside Paris, making it all the more covetable.
