The 9th Muse has been one of our favourite accessories boutiques since it opened thanks to its curated selection of hard-to-find brands ranging from vintage and modern jewellery to chic scarves and even beauty products. The shop was under the radar for a while but that’s quickly changing thanks to fans like Gwyneth Paltrow who mentioned it on her blog.
First up, the boutique was given a sleek makeover. The new space is definitely more modern thanks to its funky geometric tiled flooring while the Art Deco style chandelier and wood panelled walls add a glamorous touch.
Along with a new look are more must-have accessories that you can’t find elsewhere, including the shop’s first in-house jewellery line called TwelveOTwo (the name comes from the owners’ birthday months). The first collection is designed in collaboration with New York based designer Chris Habana and features a range of sculptural cuffs., earrings and necklaces. Many of the pieces have a fluid quality and look as though they have been crafted out of molten gold or silver. Favourites include the Ebb earrings and Undertone cuff. Next season the label will expand its offerings, offering wholesale to other retails.
Of course there’s also plenty to choose from especially next season including Danielle Nicole backpacks and handbags, Julie Vos and Karma Creations featuring diamonds and semi previous stones, to name a few. They are constantly adding new pieces from their current stable of designers so it’s always worth going in for a visit.
The 9th Muse is at Room 1204, One Lyndhurst Tower, 1 Lyndhurst Terrace
