Sweater weather is here which means that we can finally indulge in some cashmere! Our latest discovery is Knitlab, a new collection designed by hip British designer Zoe Jordan. While Zoe’s own line is known for its mix of Savile Row tailoring and feminine details, Knitlab focuses entirely on knitwear with a fashionable edge.
Of course knits are something you want to keep in your closet forever so the designs are transeasonal and can be worn season after season. Saying that, many of the styles feature shoulder cut outs which will be a huge trend going forward. The look is structured yet casual with a mix of boyish and feminine details.

There are six styles in the collection, all made from a mix of wool and cashmere. There’s everything from long cable knit tunics to slouchy sweaters with cut outs and silver foiling. Colours include classic camel, black and white, and there will be new shades each season, inspired by Jordan’s mainline (for spring expect rope detailing, nautical stripes and colour blocking). And, fun fact: each style is named after a scientist.
Our favourites include the Galileo which comes with cut outs all the way down the arms, while the Dias is an instant classic and comes with cut outs at the shoulders.
