2017: A Busy Year

I was thrilled to have the opportunity to moderate several events with some of the industry’s most prolific and well-respected talents throughout the year.

Highlights included a Facebook Live Q&A with designer Victoria Beckham who spoke about her highly anticipated makeup launch in Asia. One of fashion’s most respected icons, Iris Apfel, visited Hong Kong for the first time. I co-hosted an event at the Landmark in Hong Kong, followed by an intimate session with students from SCAD Hong Kong.

More insightful conversations were held at the Upper House hotel, where I met with designer Phillip Lim, stylist William Gilchrist and Audemars Piguet CEO François-Henry Bennahmias who spoke candidly about the rise of the smartwatch and its effect on the luxury watchmaking industry. One of my favourite conversations was with fellow British fashion journalist Harriet Quick who spoke on the subject of her latest book (and a topic close to my heart) – shoes!
